Jesus was the walking Word and we, as his followers, are to be walking in the Word. Join us this morning, July 7, 2019 at 11 a.m. as we look into what it means to be a biblical Christian with the sermon "The Writing Underneath." Bring someone with you to the house of God!
Do we pray like Jesus? Prayer is the thing everyone knows they need to do but never do as they should. It is the sermon that does not need to be preached but must be preached. Join us at 11:00am as we continue to learn to Follow Jesus.

We reached out to our friends at Don's Pizza Palace to ask if they would donate some pizzas we could take out and deliver to those live or are helping to cleanup in the affected areas, and they came through big time. 50 pizzas were taken by a family in our church to affected areas of Trotwood and were gone in no time. Love seeing our church out and active in times of need.
Another delivery done to Northridge and the Heavy Metal Church of Christ. Thank you to all those that donated water, Girl Scout cookies, bread, food, snacks, etc. And thank you to the Providing for Women organization for collecting the sanitary supplies for women that we also delivered. Special thanks to all those that were there volunteering. They thanked us for donating, but they are the ones that deserved our thanks for working to make it possible to serve all those in need. Today was a pickup event where local people came in to get supplies they needed or could not afford. They have a great system in place to make this happen. They also had teams out delivering items to those in need that did not have a way to get there. The biggest needs right now was cleaning supplies. We’ll try to get more specifics there, but hand sanitizer, wet wipes, paper towels would be a good start. You can drop those by the church anytime. Anyone who is interested in doing more than donating items, Sunday may be our first chance. We’re tentatively planning on anyone who is interested meet after church in the parking lot (approx 12:30) and carpool up together and just help where we can. Not sure of any details yet, but working to make that happen if we can.
Still want to help those affected by the storms? It's still not too late. They do not just need water. They need packaged food, baby supplies, toiletries, cleaning supplies and pretty anything else you see in the pictures. These are from the location setup by The First Heavy Metal Church of Christ where we have delivered water already and plan to take another load of items tomorrow. You can drop by your items in the TCAF Fellowship Hall at your convenience. The Hall will be unlocked and you can drop off donations at anytime. We will deliver the supplies to TFHMCOC or directly to people that are in need in the affected areas. We will let you know when donations are no longer needed. TORNADO AID OPPORTUNITY!! UPDATE - We made our first delivery this afternoon. 66 cases of water, a few bags of food, and some stuffed animals. Please keep it coming. They need all the help we can give as they were running low on water today. We’re going to keep collecting as long as they need it. It’s not too late to help, they have a long way to go. Keep the donations coming. The Church at Farmersville has joined with The First Heavy Metal Church of Christ to provide aid for those who have been affected by the the recent tornados. TFHMCOC is an active church in Harrison Township providing assistance directly to the people. We will be accepting donations of bottled water and packaged food at the TCAF Fellowship Hall. The Hall will be unlocked and you can drop off donations at anytime. We will deliver the supplies to TFHMCOC as they are needed. All supplies will be given to the cause. Something New Next Sunday (5-26-19) at The Church at Farmersville! Instead of a traditional sermon, we will have a panel discussion/Q&A about family with Pastors Todd and Jennifer Smith and Pastors Greg and Gina Begley! If you weren't able to submit a question today after service, ask your question in a comment below and if possible we will discuss it next Sunday! All concerns about family are welcomed...marriage, relationship, child rearing, conflict resolution, etc. Plan on bringing a friend with you!
ALL MEN! Come out to Pastor Todd's tomorrow evening at 6 for our first MenTour meeting. There will be a grill out, fresh fries, and cold drinks! We hope to see you there! And don't forget to bring someone with you!!
